Shrove Tuesday: Shrove Tuesday will be held at St. Paul-Chenoa on Tuesday, February 17th at 5:30pm. Please come for the rite of the burning of the palms along with pancakes, sausage and fellowship. A free will offering will support the Women’s Blanket Ministry. The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board.
The Small Church Summit for Winter, 2026, will feature a presentation by SID President Heath Curtis titled “The Small Town Lutheran Church.” Sectionals will be on “Shepherding our Strays,” technology in small churches, and safety standards. It will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lexington on Feb. 21st or (if weather is bad) Feb. 28th. Sign-in will be at 9:30 a.m., opening devotion will commence at 10:00, and closing prayer will be at 2:30 p.m. Register by February 13th, 2026, at https://forms.gle/eujwE5hmRC48wF7MA If you think your church is small, YOU are invited. The Preschool children will sing at the worship service on Sunday, February 22nd. We would once again like to welcome them with a hot breakfast. Lutherans and Lagers: If you want a casual Bible study and catechism refresher, join Pastor at OB’s in Chenoa on Thursday, February 26th at 6pm. Invite your friends, bring your Bible, and study God’s Word.
Lent Service Information: Lent Midweek: February 18th, 25th and March 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th at St. Paul-Lexington. Dinner at 5:45 p.m. Service at 7:00 p.m. Sign-up sheets for the meals will be located on the bulletin board.
The annual Women's Retreat at Camp CILCA will be held Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7. The speaker is Katie Schuermann, author of many books, including Pew Sisters, which will be the topic of the retreat. Registration ends on February 23.
